Econet Telecom Lesotho is a subsidiary of Econet Wireless International founded in 1993 by a businessman and philanthropist, Strive Masiyiwa.Econet Telecom Lesotho offers voice and data services through different technologies to ensure a wider and quality network coverage country-wide. The technologies include Global System for Mobile communications (GSM), Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) and Econet Fibre. Econet has so far covered all major towns with 4G LTE and 3G networks while Maseru suburbs have full 4G LTE coverage.
Econet Telecom Lesotho came into being following the merger between Telecom Lesotho (TL) and Econet Ezi ~ Cel Lesotho (EEC) in April 2008. Eskom Enterprises (Pty) Limited sold its 70% shareholding to Econet Wireless Global making Econet a majority shareholder while the Government of Lesotho remained with 30%.

Web-Hosting – This is hosting of a website on ETL webserver which will be receiving all World Wide Web (www) requests under the domain. The operation is the same as that of emails. This service could either be hosted with a database or as a static site.
The name has to be registered with registering body, and ETL registers on behalf of its customers or accepts names that are registered by customers themselves.
Email Hosting – This is hosting emails of a specific domain or organization in ETL Email servers, where they can be stored and/or forwarded to the customer’s Email client. Customers are also able to view from a web-based application and respond accordingly.
