😠 worst company ever.
Telecom Egypt hires untrained agents who have zero understanding level. Those who respond to calls, emails, online inquires are useless in solving customer problems as they have no authority to solve any thing.
Workers who are supposed to connect landline cables for customers to get the service are above all. They don't want to do their job. The first card they play is there is a cabin problem and it will be fixed in 5 days, one day, a week and so on. Different repeated additional time is all what you get without any actual move, and the final thing they resort to to is to write a report that the whole area don't have the technical ability for landline cables to get connected and the main cabin is stuffed or completed or whats so ever and that's the final card they play so no one can intervene to solve the problem and they are satisfied with this report.

(3*) 🔧 Services: Web HostingDomain RegistrationTelecom Own datacenter⇔ Redirected from tedata.net
Telecom Egypt positions itself as a full-spectrum communications provider with a strong hosting arm, pairing national network reach with a service culture rooted in dependable operations and ethical practice. They aim to blend customer-centric delivery with long-term value, reinforced by an in-house talent pipeline and modern facilities.
Background
Their story stretches back to 1854, when the first telegraph line linked Cairo and Alexandria. Over time, theyâve stayed close to Egyptâs core infrastructure build-out, evolving from basic connectivity into data-center and cloud services designed for enterprises, public sector, and growing digital businesses.
Data Centers & Network
Hosting services run from certified data centers on Telecom Egyptâs backbone. The selling points are redundancy and availability: multi-layer power and connectivity, access to high-capacity routes, and round-the-clock operations. Security is framed as a platform feature rather than an add-on, with patching and monitoring embedded across managed offerings.
Shared Hosting
Shared plans are pitched as a straightforward path to production without owning hardware. The draw is high-availability servers set directly on the providerâs redundant network, so everyday sites see consistent performance and minimal administrative overhead. Packages vary by traffic, storage, and included features, letting small teams start lean and step up as they grow.
Virtual Private Servers (IaaS / Virtual Machines)
Their VPS platform targets organizations that want isolated resources with elastic scaling. Built inside Telecom Egyptâs data centers, it emphasizes current security baselines, tested application stacks, and a pay-as-you-go model for cost control. The intent is simple: dial resources up or down without re-platforming, while keeping workloads close to the national backbone.
Dedicated Hosting
Two routes are available:- Managed Dedicated â Customers rent rack space or full racks while Telecom Egypt handles on-site maintenance, uptime checks, hardware warranty coordination, and security patching. This suits teams that want hardware control without building a shift-based ops function.
- Unmanaged Dedicated â For organizations with deep in-house skills. Telecom Egypt provides equipment rental, rack space, and connectivity; customers take the wheel on configuration and day-to-day system administration, with remote management access.
Colocation
For those bringing their own servers, co-location starts as low as a single rack unit and scales to full footprints. Clients gain facility-grade power, cooling, and access controls, plus remote management tools and 24/7 engineering coverage for hands-on assistance. Proactive monitoring targets hardware failures, OS issues, and security events before they become outages.
Support & Operations
A dedicated support organization underpins the portfolio, with engineers available around the clock and a self-service knowledge base for routine tasks. Managed customers get structured maintenance (including patch flows and warranty handling), while self-managed clients still benefit from on-site expertise and remote-hands capabilities.
Uptime & Money-Back
Telecom Egypt repeatedly stresses high availability and resilient backbone connectivity.
Who It Suits
- Public institutions and large enterprises that value domestic data residency, certified facilities, and a provider embedded in national infrastructure.
- Growing businesses that need a clean upgrade path from shared to VPS to dedicated or colo.
- Ops-lean teams that prefer managed services for patching, monitoring, and on-site maintenance.
🎯 Conclusion
Telecom Egyptâs hosting lineup is grounded in reliable facilities, backbone-level connectivity, and service models that meet different operational appetitesâfrom fully managed to hands-on. The strengths are breadth and proximity to national infrastructure; the homework items are SLA specifics and any refund policies. For organizations operating in Egyptâor prioritizing local presence with enterprise guardrailsâTelecom Egypt offers a dependable, scalable foundation for web and application hosting.📢 Special pages

Its literally the worst internet provider in the world , their internet is not stable i donât have internet for 1 week now which affects my work because i am working from home and they donât care a day after day they just reply the problem will be fixed in 48 hours and no action is taken
They have terrible customer support team that is not techincally qualified for the job and also rude to customers
They have the worst Engineers i have ever seen their departments cannot communicate together because they are not replying to their internal emails between each other
Not recommended for even reading the news on their internet

😠 A terrible service provided by government which monopolize and regulate every running ISP according to their views, giving their company the best price. and forcing all ISPs now to only provide LIMITED INTERNET ACCESS as speed will go down to 265kbps IN 2020!!
yet TE DATA / WE have the worst service, customer service, also they are blocking many websites especially political and financial ones.
I'm living near their server and having awful internet quality. internet packet loss ranges from 3% at its best and goes all the way to crazy numbers above 50%.
I flooded their customer service with many complaints over the years all in vain
not to mention that you'd get to wait from 30 mins to an hour to reach an ignorant one, and not just about the Tech stuff but also your local language?!!
